On November 7, 2022, the signing ceremony of the “Biomass Furniture Coatings Strategic Cooperation Agreement” held by Baichuan Paint and Covestro and Grammy was held at the China International Import Expo. At the event, a series of high-end furniture products created by Grammy using Baichuan’s “biomass raw silver antibacterial paint” and Covestro’s “Zero carbon booth” were displayed.
After this joint venture, Baichuan paint became the first producer of biomass wood paint in the Asia-Pacific region, with which Costro, the first biomass raw materials for the coatings industry in the Asia-Pacific region, and Grammy, a well-known Chinese hotel furniture manufacturing enterprise and strategic partner of Baichuan Paint, became the first furniture brand in the Asia-Pacific region to use biomass wood paint.

The signing of the “Biomass furniture coating strategic cooperation Agreement” between Baichuan Paint and Covestro and Grammy, and the landing application of Baichuan’s “biomass original silver antibacterial paint”, marks a historic step taken by Baichuan on the road of green and low-carbon economic development. The proposal of “plug-in low-carbon solution” based on biomass raw silver antibacterial paint represents Baichuan’s strong answer to the feasibility of circular economy.
